BOOK TITLE: LIGHT ON SNOW
AUTHOR: ANITA SHREVE
GENRE: ADULT FICTION “A TENDER AND SURPRISING NOVEL ABOUT LOVE AND ITS CONSEQUENCES”.
REVIEW:
This book was a 2 out of 5 stars in my opinion.
The story was told through the eyes of a very mature 12 year old girl, which in itself is a very unusual read. It is about the finding of a baby, the loss of a mother and wife and the relationship of a father and daughter. The writing is very descriptive and deep. The struggle to get through grief was apparent and the fathers sorrow palpable. The story seems incomplete to me being a fan of happy endings. This book was well written, but lacks entertainment value.
BOOK TITLE: About a Dog
AUTHOR: Jenn McKinlay
GENRE: Adult Fiction ”A Funny lost love book”
REVIEW:
This book was a 4 out of 5 stars in my opinion.
This book was very entertaining and funny. Although it could be a little “Racy” for some, an not deep in anyway, I thought the story was very good. Its a hometown recaptured romance with the addition of a very adorable dog! So if you like animals, love and laughter, I recommend checking out this book!
